Accommodation
New Hall
The recommended accommodation for ISSAC 2000 is in New Hall, one of the University's student residences, located about 200m from the Physical Sciences building, where the main events of the conference will take place. The accommodation is in comfortable modern single rooms with double beds (1.4m) and private bathrooms. The accommodation costs £35.20, including an evening meal and breakfast. Special diets can be catered for, please mail us with details. An accompanying person can share such a room for £26.25 per night, including meals.

Accommodation at New Hall is available for the nights between Saturday August 5th, and Friday August 11th. That is, Saturday is the earliest possible arrival day, and Friday the last possible departure day.
Other University Accommodation
There is some cheaper accommodation available in other University residences. The rooms there are more typical student rooms, with narrower beds and shared bathrooms. The price is around £25, including evening meal and breakfast (served in the residence you are staying in, not in New Hall with the other ISSAC members). There is no possibility of an accompanying person sharing such a room (the beds are too narrow).If you would like to reserve such accommodation (on a first come, first served basis), please mail us.
Hotels and Guest Houses
St Andrews is very well supplied with non-University accommodation, ranging from Guest Houses, offering Bed and Breakfast from around £20 per person per night to top-class hotels, with costs approaching £ 100 per person per night. There is also self-catering accommodation available.
