The Lady Liberty Shuttle Service (phone: 215 - 724 8888, fax: 215 - 724 7777) offers timely and inexpensive transportation from and to the airport. Rates are $8.00 one way per person, plus gratuity.

Car Rental: You won't need a car in Philadelphia. Taxis and trains are convenient means of transportation - and less expensive than cars if one considers the high cost of parking (valet parking at the Inn at Penn is $24 per day). So we recommend not to rent a car at the airport. If you change your mind after arriving at the hotel, there is a car rental in the Sheraton Hotel, just 1 block from The Inn at Penn:

Public Transportation:
  1. Take train R1 from airport to 30th Street Station ($5.50, 18 minutes)
  2. From main lobby of 30th Street Station, go to 30th St. exit doors, turn left, and go to corner of 30th and Market Streets. Then do one of the following:
    • Take a cab (approximately $5 excluding tip, 5 minutes)
    • Walk 7 blocks:
      1. Turn right into Market Street
      2. Go west on Market St to 36th St.
      3. Turn left onto 36th Street
      4. Proceed on 36th Street crossing Chestnut Street
      5. Continue on 36th for 1/2 block, turn right on Sansom
      6. Hotel is mid-block on the left
