From the railway station you can reach the university by trams 11 or 12. Get off at the third stop (Breite Straße) and go to the left (crossing the street Lange Straße). After walking about 150m through the street Breite Straße you will be at the square Universitätsplatz. Now, on your right you will see the main building of the University of Rostock.
