Free parking is available on the day of the event in the large lot directly west (across State street) from the main building entrance.
The Champaign area is served by Willard Airport, located approximately 15 minutes by car from the conference site. The most common way to get to Champaign is to fly into Chicago's O'Hare International Airport (code: ORD). Depending on how you arrange your flight, it is possible to cost-effectively fly directly into Willard Airport (code: CMI). To get the best deal, you should search various sources or work with a travel agent.
Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) is located about 50 minutes by car from Champaign. There are direct flights from Detroit to Bloomington.
Midway International Airport (MDW) in Chicago, Illinois, is located about three hours by car from Champaign.
Indianapolis International Airport (IND) in Indianapolis, Indiana, is located about two hours by car from Champaign. Note: Indianapolis is in the US Eastern time zone, one hour ahead of Illinois.
If you fly into Champaign's Willard Airport, use one of the taxis present or call a cab from the list of companies provided at the end of this section to take you to your accommodations.
Illini Shuttle is a comfortable coach service that provides connections between O'Hare International Airport and Champaign. The shuttle will pick you up from O'Hare Airport at Door 4 of the Bus/Shuttle Center. You may also consider taking an Amtrak train or a Greyhound bus.
